Considering the huge logistics cost and time involved, they decided to do this at the power station. This is where ENSER enters the picture. The company collaborated with Siemens to build the world’s largest stator rollers within six months by leveraging its engineering expertise. It was then installed at the power station, and the core was hoisted onto the mechanical roller within the rewind facility. Once in place, the roller rotates the core, allowing for the copper conductor bars to be safely removed and inserted. Rewinding the generator core at their facility helped them save time and a huge portion of their financials.
