Buyer (Supply Chain Management)

We are seeking a versatile and experienced professional to join our team as a Buyer. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring materials while efficiently managing inventory in the warehouse. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to optimize the supply chain and warehouse processes.

• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for materials and products. Develop and maintain strong relationships to ensure a reliable supply chain.
• Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers. Seek cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Coordinate and process purchase orders efficiently through ERP System.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure purchased materials meet specified standards.
• Monitor and control costs related to procurement. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Implement and maintain effective inventory control processes. Monitor stock levels, reorder points, and lead times to optimize inventory levels.
• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving and storage. Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures.
• Maximize warehouse space utilization and organization. Implement efficient storage solutions.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy. Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill internal and external orders accurately and on time.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or proven experience as a Buyer.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with procurement processes and supply chain management.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience using ERP Systems (Epicor)
